Burglary

DALE — The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department investigated a burglary Monday morning that occurred at a Cass Township nursery on the Dubois County line.

The break-in at Family Roots Nursery, 4781W. 1200S, occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday. A suspect or suspects gained entry by prying open a door.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken from a file safe inside the business located north of I-64 and west of U.S. 231. Damage to the door was estimated at $1,000.

Anyone who remembers seeing a vehicle or people in the area during the hours in question is asked to call the sheriff’s department at 482-3522. Callers may remain anonymous.
